Just finished the October 2013 issue of Analog Science Fiction

Just finished the October 2013 issue of Analog Science Fiction.

Sixteen Million Leagues from Versailles by Allen Steele was interesting enough, though it does fall into the category of a Mystery that takes place on an Earth Colony on another planet.

Best short story, in my opinion, was Fear of Heights in the Tower of Babel by Carl Frederick  about a man who has to negotiate a hostage situation with an Elevator operated by Artificial Intelligence with multiple personality disorder.

Best story in this issue is Lune Bleue, a novella by Janet Catherine Johnston.  This story has everything.  Exploration of the moon, a mad-man who must be subdued, ingenuity of the astronauts to try and survive one catastrophe after another.  The story leaves you wondering right up to the end weather they will be rescued.

Below is a compleate list of stories and articles from this issue.
